For over three years the Payzant family have been passionate about the children of TLC and God has truly blessed their ministry. They fill many roles including teaching, buss driving, puppet ministry, singing, playing musical instruments and are a true asset to TLC.
East Valley Children’s Ministry
The Lighthouse Church childrens ministry is a group of loving and kind teachers and leaders guiding and showing the children of Apache Junction how they to can learn about Jesus and grow a relationship with him in a fun, exciting way.
Excitement, Activities for Kids
Our hope at TLC is to create a fun-loving place where kids around the east valley can love Jesus and church. We create this excitement with fun activities like puppets, games, vacation bible school, snacks & engaging literature.
Incentives for Involvement
Getting kids involved to learn can be challenging which is why we create opportunities for them to earn prizes through worshiper of the week, month and year, win party’s through reading their bible and extra treats by listening to teaching.
Learning the Fun Way
The children of TLC love fun and games but love God’s word even more! You will find that TLC children are very knowledgeable about stories and parables in the Bible and are eager to learn more – we do this by creating a fun way to learn about Jesus! From creating live dramas, preforming engaging puppetry to involved teaching our children have fun and enjoy learning about Jesus at the same time.
